Applications
6-Lauroyl ethyl glucoside (CAS 124285-43-4) is a nonionic glucoside-derived surfactant used as an emulsifier, detergent and dispersant in diverse formulations. In cosmetics and personal care it provides mild cleansing and foaming; in household cleaners it acts as a surfactant for dishwashing and surface cleaners; in industrial cleaning and processing it improves wetting and dispersion of solids; it also functions as a solubilizer for fragrance components and actives in formulations; in coatings, paints and inks it serves as an emulsifier/wetting agent to enhance pigment dispersion and flow; in agrochemical formulations it is used as an emulsifier and surfactant adjuvant for pesticide sprays.
