    3-Sulfopropyl acrylate potassium salt (CAS 31098-20-1) is primarily used as a sulfonated acrylate monomer to prepare water-soluble or water-dispersible polymers. The resulting sulfonated polyacrylates are commonly employed as dispersants and thickeners in coatings and inks (aqueous systems), in water-based adhesives and sealants, and in cleaning formulations to improve dispersion and rheology.
