Applications
1-Hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone (CAS 947-19-3) is a Type I photoinitiator used to initiate polymerization of acrylate/methacrylate resins under UV light. In UV-curable coatings and topcoats, it enables fast cure and high clarity, and it is also employed as a photoinitiator in UV-curable inks for packaging and digital/industrial printing, as well as in UV-curable adhesives for industrial applications. It is used in UV-curable resins for 3D printing (SLA/DLP) and in polymer formulations for protective coatings and plastics. Applications may be subject to local regulations and formulation limits.
