  • Ứng dụng

    Axit stearic, CAS 57-11-4, là một acid béo bão hòa dạng sáp có tính ứng dụng rất đa dạng: trong mỹ phẩm và sản phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân nó đóng vai trò chất làm đặc, nhũ hóa và ổn định bọt cho kem, xà phòng, gel cạo râu; trong dược phẩm và thực phẩm nó được dùng làm tá dược, chất chống dính và nguồn cung cấp acid béo; trong công nghiệp cao su nó hoạt hóa quá trình lưu hoá, cải thiện độ phân tán bột độn và tăng tính đàn hồi; trong sản xuất nến, sáp đánh bóng và màu sơn nó tạo độ cứng, độ mờ và khả năng chống trầy; trong gia công kim loại và sản xuất nhựa PVC, các muối stearat hình thành từ axit stearic (như kẽm, canxi, chì stearat) hoạt động như chất bôi trơn nội tại, chất ổn nhiệt và chất giải khuôn; ngoài ra nó còn được dùng trong sản xuất thuốc nổ, mực in, bao bì giấy chống ẩm, phụ gia thức ăn chăn nuôi và là thành phần của hỗn hợp bảo vệ bề mặt nhằm chống gỉ sét kim loại.
