  • Ứng dụng

    2-Phenylethyl isothiocyanate (PEITC, CAS 2257-09-2) là một isothiocyanate thiên nhiên có mùi cải nồng, được nghiên cứu rộng rãi với nhiều ứng dụng: trong dược phẩm và công nghệ sinh học, PEITC được xem là tác nhân hoá dự phòng ung thư nhờ khả năng ức chế enzyme cytochrome P450, hoạt hoá pha II, gây chết tế bào ung thư và chống viêm; trong dinh dưỡng, nó được bổ sung làm thành phần hương vị cay nồng và chất chống oxy hoá cho thực phẩm chức năng; trong nông nghiệp, PEITC hoạt động như bio-fumigant ức chế nấm và tuyến trùng, góp phần kiểm soát dịch hại thân thiện môi trường; trong hoá hữu cơ, nó là tác nhân isothiocyanat hoá để tổng hợp dẫn xuất thiourea, vòng thiazolidin và đầu dò huỳnh quang; đồng thời được dùng làm chuẩn phân tích HPLC, LC-MS cho định lượng glucosinolate và nghiên cứu chuyển hoá thực vật.
