  • Ứng dụng

    Manool (CAS 596-85-0) là một ancol điterpen khung labdane có mùi gỗ ấm và hổ phách, được dùng rộng rãi trong ngành hương liệu như thành phần mùi và chất cố định để tăng độ lưu hương cho nước hoa cao cấp, mỹ phẩm, xà phòng và chất tẩy rửa nhờ độ bền mùi và ổn định công thức; ngoài ứng dụng trực tiếp, manool còn là tiền chất quan trọng cho các chất mùi thay thế long diên hương như ambroxide/Ambroxan và nhiều dẫn xuất labdane khác, nên có giá trị trong hóa hương liệu bán tổng hợp; trong nghiên cứu, hợp chất này thường được dùng làm chất chuẩn tự nhiên, dấu ấn hóa thực vật/địa hóa của nhựa cây họ lá kim và tinh dầu, cũng như khung phân tử để khảo sát hoạt tính sinh học (ví dụ kháng vi sinh, chống viêm, gây độc tế bào in vitro) và phát triển phương pháp tổng hợp bất đối xứng; về công thức, manool kỵ nước, tan tốt trong dung môi hữu cơ và pha dầu, và trong thực hành điều chế hương thường được dùng ở nồng độ thấp với quản lý an toàn theo IFRA và kiểm soát oxy hóa để bảo toàn chất lượng mùi.
