  • Ứng dụng

    Geranyl butyrate (CAS 106-29-6) là este thơm tự nhiên có hương quả đào-lê rất dịu, vì vậy được ưa chuộng làm thành phần tạo hương trong nước hoa cao cấp, sản phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân (kem dưỡng, dầu gội, sữa tắm), tinh dầu khuếch tán và nến thơm; trong công nghiệp thực phẩm nó được dùng như chất gia hương cho đồ uống có gas, nước ép, kẹo mềm, bánh quy, sữa chua và kẹo cao su, đồng thời cải thiện cảm giác thơm ngọt của sản phẩm giảm đường; ngoài ra hợp chất còn được ứng dụng trong thuốc lá điện tử, dung môi pha màu, hương liệu thức ăn chăn nuôi nhằm tăng tính hấp dẫn, làm chất bán thành phẩm tổng hợp terpenoid chức năng, và được nghiên cứu như mồi dụ sinh học kiểm soát ruồi giấm trong nông nghiệp sạch.
