    γ-Undecalactone (CAS 104-67-6) là một hợp chất lacton vòng có hương đào chín ngọt ngào, được ngành hương liệu dùng làm chất tạo mùi vị cho kẹo, bánh nướng, sữa chua, đồ uống, trái cây đóng hộp, kem và thực phẩm thay thế sữa để tăng sắc thái đào, mơ, mận, dâu, xoài; trong nước hoa nó mang lại độ mịn trái cây, kem và da cho cấu trúc hương hoa, gỗ hoặc xạ hương, kéo dài độ lưu hương; ngoài ra còn có trong mỹ phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân như son dưỡng, kem dưỡng, dầu gội, trong tinh dầu thuốc lá điện tử, hương dược liệu và nghiên cứu cảm quan với vai trò chất chuẩn nhờ ngưỡng mùi rất thấp, độ an toàn cao và khả năng phối trộn tốt với aldehyde, ester, ketone và các lacton chuỗi dài khác.
