  • Ứng dụng

    Delta-Octalactone (δ-octalactone, CAS 698-76-0) là một lacton mang sắc thái dừa béo, sữa, mơ/đào và caramel, được ứng dụng rộng rãi trong ngành hương–vị để tạo độ béo mịn và ấm áp cho kẹo, bánh nướng, sô cô la, caramel, kem, sữa chua, đồ uống sữa và đồ uống trái cây, sản phẩm thuần chay mô phỏng sữa, cà phê RTD và nước dừa; nó tăng cường note dừa hoặc trái cây hạch, cân bằng vị đắng, và phối hợp tốt với γ-decalactone, γ-undecalactone, vanillin, coumarin và nhựa gỗ, thường dùng ở hàm lượng rất thấp (ppm) hoặc vi lượng trong hương liệu lỏng hoặc vi bao; trong nước hoa và chăm sóc cá nhân, chất này đem lại cảm giác gourmand, kem sữa và nhiệt đới cho nước hoa mịn ấm, dầu gội, sữa tắm, xà phòng, chất tẩy giặt và nến thơm, với độ bền mùi khá tốt, tan trong ethanol/propylene glycol nhưng ít tan trong nước, ổn định với nhiệt và acid nhẹ, và nên dùng tuân thủ tiêu chuẩn an toàn hương liệu hiện hành.
