  • Ứng dụng

    Carveol, trans-(−)- (CAS 1197-07-5) được sử dụng chủ yếu làm thành phần hương liệu–mỹ phẩm nhờ mùi thảo mộc, bạc hà, gỗ và hơi cam quýt, giúp điều chỉnh nốt hương trong nước hoa, chất khử mùi, sản phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân và gia dụng, đồng thời làm chất tạo hương thực phẩm ở liều rất thấp; trong tổng hợp hóa học, đồng phân đối ảnh trans-(−)- này còn là khối xây dựng monoterpen để điều chế carvone và các dẫn xuất terpenoid khác, đóng vai trò chất chuẩn mùi và chất chuẩn sắc ký (GC/GC–MS, phân tách đối quang) cho nghiên cứu hương–vị, và được khảo sát như chất tăng thấm qua da, tác nhân kháng vi sinh/kháng oxy hóa nhẹ, cũng như tiền chất hoặc phụ gia sinh học tiềm năng trong dược phẩm, nông hóa và vật liệu xanh.
