  • Ứng dụng

    alpha-Pinene oxide (CAS 1686-14-2) là epoxit monoterpen chủ yếu được dùng làm chất trung gian tổng hợp: dưới xúc tác axit hoặc zeolit, nó tái sắp xếp theo phản ứng pinene-oxide thành campholenic aldehyde - tiền chất quan trọng cho nhiều hương liệu mang tông gỗ thông/camphor và các monoterpen oxy hóa khác; vòng epoxit căng giúp dễ mở vòng bằng nucleophile (rượu, amin, nước) để tạo diol, aminoalcol và các khối xây dựng bất đối xứng cho dược phẩm, thuốc bảo vệ thực vật; là cơ chất mô hình trong nghiên cứu xúc tác, chọn lọc lập thể và biotransformation (epoxide hydrolase) để tạo diol có độ chọn lọc enantiomer cao; được dùng làm mẫu tham chiếu/chuẩn phân tích trong GC/LC-MS và hợp chất mô hình cho các nghiên cứu phản ứng khí-hạt của monoterpen oxy hóa; đôi khi được khai thác để tổng hợp sobrerol/pinanediol và vật liệu hương, nhưng hiếm khi dùng trực tiếp trong sản phẩm tiêu dùng do tính phản ứng và nhạy sáng/axit.
