  • Ứng dụng

    (Z)-alpha-Bisabolene là một sesquiterpen hydrocarbon có nguồn gốc từ tinh dầu, được ứng dụng chủ yếu làm chất tạo hương trong nước hoa, mỹ phẩm cá nhân và sản phẩm chăm sóc gia đình (mang sắc thái ấm, gỗ, hơi cam quýt; giúp điều chỉnh, làm tròn và hỗ trợ cố định hương), làm chất tạo mùi vị ở nồng độ rất thấp trong thực phẩm và đồ uống; dùng làm chất trung gian để tổng hợp các dẫn xuất như bisabolone, epoxit của bisabolene và các sesquiterpen chức hóa khác; là phân tử nền trong công nghệ sinh học xanh (sản xuất bằng vi sinh vật và hydro hóa thành bisabolane – ứng viên nhiên liệu diesel/jet sinh học); đồng thời được sử dụng như chất chuẩn/marker trong phân tích tinh dầu và nghiên cứu hoạt tính sinh học in vitro (ví dụ kháng khuẩn/chống oxy hóa) cũng như sinh thái học hóa học thực vật; trong công thức, nó có thể cải thiện độ bền mùi, tăng tính hòa hợp giữa các nốt hương và che phủ mùi nền, với lưu ý tuân thủ quy định an toàn và giới hạn sử dụng hiện hành.
