  • Ứng dụng

    Piperitenone (CAS 491-09-8) là một monoterpen keton tự nhiên có mùi bạc hà - thảo mộc, hiện diện trong tinh dầu các loài Mentha và một số Cymbopogon; trong ứng dụng, hợp chất này được dùng như chất trung gian tổng hợp linh hoạt (ví dụ epoxi hóa tạo piperitenone oxide, chuyển vị Baeyer-Villiger, hydrogen hóa/oxy hóa chọn lọc để thu các dẫn xuất menthone/menthol), thành phần điều hương trong nghiên cứu hương - liệu để bổ sung sắc thái mát the hơi cay, chất chuẩn và marker hóa học trong phân tích tinh dầu và nghiên cứu hóa thực vật, cũng như khung cấu trúc tham chiếu trong nghiên cứu dược học và nông hóa để đánh giá hoạt tính kháng vi sinh vật, kháng nấm, côn trùng/ấu trùng và chống oxy hóa in vitro; ngoài ra còn được khảo sát như nguyên liệu terpene cho vật liệu sinh học/monomer, song phần lớn ứng dụng ở quy mô phòng thí nghiệm, cần kiểm soát độ tinh khiết, an toàn tiếp xúc và tuân thủ quy định với hương liệu tự nhiên.
