    p-Mentha-1,8(10)-dien-9-yl acetate (CAS 15111-97-4) là một este monoterpen có mùi citrus–thảo mộc tươi, được ứng dụng trong hương liệu và tạo hương thực phẩm (tùy quy định địa phương) để bổ sung nốt hương sáng cho nước hoa, nến, sản phẩm khử mùi, chăm sóc cá nhân và một số đồ uống/siro, đồng thời làm chất điều biến hương trong chất tẩy rửa; trong công nghiệp hóa chất, hợp chất này còn được dùng như dung môi/đồng dung môi dễ phân hủy sinh học, chất mang hương trong vi bao, và trung gian tổng hợp để tạo các alcohol, epoxide hoặc carbonat liên quan phục vụ vật liệu hương, dược–nông hóa, cũng như cơ chất mô hình cho xúc tác enzyme (lipase) và biotransformation; các đặc tính như kháng vi sinh, xua đuổi côn trùng và kiểm soát mùi đang được khai thác cho chất tẩy rửa, bao bì chủ động và chế phẩm bảo vệ thực vật.
