  • Ứng dụng

    Isobutyl alcohol (IBA, iso-butanol, CAS 78-83-1) là một dung môi hữu cơ đa năng được sử dụng rộng rãi trong sơn công nghiệp, vecni, mực in và lớp phủ nitrocellulose nhờ tốc độ bay hơi trung bình và khả năng hòa tan tốt; nó được dùng làm chất pha loãng để điều chỉnh độ nhớt, kéo dài thời gian mở màng, cải thiện độ bóng bề mặt, giảm vết chổi, đồng thời đóng vai trò chất liên kết trong keo dán và nhựa tổng hợp; trong công nghiệp hóa chất, IBA là nguyên liệu trung gian để este hóa tạo isobutyl acetate có mùi trái cây cho hương liệu thực phẩm, nước hoa và dung môi sơn, để sản xuất các este phthalat, adipat làm chất hóa dẻo PVC, để tổng hợp chất chống oxy hóa, phụ gia dầu nhờn, thuốc trừ sâu và dược phẩm; nó còn được dùng làm dung môi chiết trong chiết tách dược liệu, dung môi phản ứng trong polymer acrylate, chất tạo bọt nổi trong tuyển quặng, chất khử bọt cho dung dịch tẩy rửa, phụ gia cải thiện chỉ số octan của xăng sinh học, và tác nhân ức chế nấm mốc trong phòng thí nghiệm vi sinh.
