    Cyclohexanol, 2-methyl-5-(1-methylethenyl)-, (1R,2R,5R)-rel- (CAS 38049-26-2) là một rượu terpenoid vòng có tính đối quang, được ứng dụng chủ yếu làm thành phần mùi hương/điều hương trong nước hoa, mỹ phẩm, sản phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân và chất tẩy rửa (tạo sắc thái terpen kiểu p-menthane như thảo mộc-cam quýt), làm phụ gia tạo hương ở mức vết cho thực phẩm phù hợp quy chuẩn, đồng thời đóng vai trò nguyên liệu trung gian để tổng hợp các este, cacbamat và cacbonat mùi hương, dẫn xuất menthane và các khung terpenoid khác; trong nghiên cứu – phát triển, hợp chất này thường được dùng làm chất chuẩn chiral và khối xây dựng lập thể cho tách enantiomer, khảo sát chuyển hóa/biotransformation terpene, phát triển quy trình tổng hợp hương liệu, cũng như trong các hệ vi bao hoặc pro-fragrance kiểm soát phát thải mùi cho nến thơm, máy khuếch tán, chất khử mùi không khí và sản phẩm giặt rửa.
