  • Ứng dụng

    α-Copaene (CAS 3856-25-5) là một sesquiterpen dễ bay hơi hiện diện trong nhiều tinh dầu (như copaiba, đinh hương, tiêu, húng quế, phong lữ, họ cam quýt) và có các ứng dụng nổi bật ở ba mảng: bán hoá học nông nghiệp, hương liệu–thực phẩm và phân tích–kiểm nghiệm; cụ thể, đồng phân (+)-α-copaene là kairomone mạnh thu hút ruồi đục quả đực, đặc biệt là ruồi Địa Trung Hải Ceratitis capitata, nên được dùng làm chất dẫn dụ trong bẫy giám sát quần thể và hỗ trợ quản lý dịch hại tổng hợp/SIT, đôi khi phối hợp với các mồi khác để tăng độ nhạy phát hiện; trong hương liệu, α-copaene đóng góp sắc thái gỗ–nhựa thông–gia vị của nhiều nguyên liệu tự nhiên và đôi khi được bổ sung ở nồng độ vết để tái tạo hồ sơ hương tự nhiên hoặc tạo điểm nhấn gỗ–thảo mộc trong nước hoa; trong phân tích, nó được dùng làm chất chuẩn/neo chỉ số giữ (Kovats) vùng C15 cho GC/GC–MS, làm mẫu hiệu năng cho tách đối quang, và làm chỉ thị hoá học để xác thực tinh dầu, truy xuất nguồn gốc địa lý, phát hiện pha trộn; ngoài ra α-copaene còn là hợp phần mục tiêu trong hồ sơ khí đầu khoảng của trái cây để theo dõi độ chín và biến động sau thu hoạch, đồng thời là phân tử mô hình trong sinh thái hoá học và nghiên cứu khứu giác côn trùng nhằm làm sáng tỏ tương tác mùi–thụ thể và định hướng phát triển vật liệu dẫn dụ thế hệ mới.
