    Cedrelanol (CAS 5937-11-1) là một sesquiterpenoid alcohol có nguồn gốc tự nhiên (ghi nhận trong họ Meliaceae như Cedrela), có ứng dụng chủ yếu trong lĩnh vực mùi hương nhờ sắc thái gỗ ấm/khô đặc trưng, có thể được phối trộn vào nước hoa và sản phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân để tạo chiều sâu và phần nào hỗ trợ giữ mùi; ngoài ra còn được sử dụng trong nghiên cứu dược liệu như chất chuẩn/đối chiếu cho phân tích định tính–định lượng và kiểm soát chất lượng chiết xuất, làm nguyên liệu trung gian cho tổng hợp dẫn xuất terpenoid, và là đối tượng khảo sát hoạt tính sinh học (kháng khuẩn, kháng viêm, chống oxy hóa, tác động lên côn trùng) cũng như các ứng dụng sinh học–vật liệu tiềm năng, dù các hướng y dược và nông nghiệp hiện vẫn chủ yếu ở mức tiền lâm sàng và cần đánh giá an toàn, độ ổn định và tuân thủ quy chuẩn (ví dụ IFRA/REACH).
