  • Ứng dụng

    beta-Farnesene (CAS 77129-48-7) là một sesquiterpen tự nhiên được sử dụng chủ yếu làm thành phần hương liệu trong ngành công nghiệp nước hoa và mỹ phẩm, đồng thời xuất hiện trong các sản phẩm chăm sóc gia dụng với vai trò bổ sung mùi hương; nó cũng được xem là tiền chất trung gian trong tổng hợp các hợp chất hương thơm và có thể tham gia vào các chuỗi sản xuất hóa chất liên quan đến vật liệu tổng hợp. Trong nông nghiệp, beta-Farnesene được nghiên cứu và ứng dụng như một hóa chất bán tín hiệu (semiochemical) cho quản lý sâu hại, đặc biệt liên quan đến rệp sáp, và có thể được dùng trong các bẫy pheromone để theo dõi sự hiện diện của rệp sáp và tối ưu hóa các biện pháp kiểm soát.
