    beta-Cadinene (CAS 523-47-7) là một hydrocarbon sesquiterpene phổ biến trong các dầu tinh dầu thiên nhiên. Trong lĩnh vực nước hoa và công thức hương, nó đóng vai trò là một thành phần mùi và góp phần vào các nốt hương xanh, gỗ và balsamic, thường được tích hợp vào các hỗn hợp hương tự nhiên. Trong mỹ phẩm và chăm sóc cá nhân, beta-Cadinene xuất hiện như một thành phần hương trong kem dưỡng da, lotion và nước hoa, góp phần vào profile hương. Trong các sản phẩm gia dụng, nó được dùng làm thành phần hương trong chất tẩy rửa, nước lau chùi và bình xịt làm thơm để mang lại các nốt thơm đặc trưng.
