    Ammonium thiocyanate (NH4SCN, CAS 1762-95-4) được dùng như nguồn thiocyanat trong phân tích kim loại và các ứng dụng phân tích hóa học; là tiền chất để tổng hợp thiourea và các dẫn chất guanidin liên quan; được sử dụng trong tổng hợp phức hợp thiocyanat kim loại và nghiên cứu hóa học vô cơ; và là tiền chất cho sản xuất thiourea cùng các chất liên quan trong cao su và polymer, nhằm tạo ra các chất xúc tác hoặc gia cố trong chế biến polymer.
