    Thiram là một fungicide dithiocarbamate (CAS 137-26-8) được sử dụng chủ yếu trong nông nghiệp với các ứng dụng chính sau: xử lý hạt để bảo vệ hạt giống và cây con khỏi các bệnh nấm, và các chế phẩm bảo vệ mùa vụ ở quy mô nông nghiệp nhằm phòng ngừa bệnh trên lá và đất; trong ngành công nghiệp cao su và elastomer, nó hoạt động như một chất tăng gia quá trình lưu hóa, thúc đẩy curing và cải thiện mạng liên kết của cao su; trong ngành công nghiệp hóa học, thiram được dùng làm tiền chất hoặc thành phần trung gian để sản xuất các dithiocarbamate fungicide khác và các hóa chất liên quan đến cao su.
