    Tetrahydrofurfuryl acetate (THFAc, CAS 637-64-9) là một este có mùi thơm nhẹ, được sử dụng rộng rãi làm dung môi có độ bay hơi chậm và khả năng hòa tan cao trong sơn gỗ, vecni, mực in gốc nước, keo dán, chất tẩy rửa công nghiệp và dung dịch làm sạch kim loại; ngoài ra nó còn đóng vai trò chất mang hương trong mỹ phẩm, phụ gia xử lý bề mặt da, chất hóa dẻo thân thiện môi trường và trung gian tổng hợp dược phẩm, thuốc bảo vệ thực vật cũng như nhựa epoxy hiệu suất cao.
