  • Ứng dụng

    tert-Butyl peroxybenzoate (CAS 614-45-9) được sử dụng phổ biến như một chất khởi động tự do (free-radical initiator) kích hoạt bằng nhiệt trong các quá trình polymer hóa và đóng rắn. Nó thường được dùng như chất khởi động trong sản xuất công nghiệp cho polymer hóa monome vinyl và đóng rắn nhựa polyester không no; trong các hệ resin acrylate, sơn và hệ mực in, TBPB được dùng để bắt đầu polymer hóa tự do, giúp quá trình đóng rắn nhanh và hình thành lớp phủ. Nó cũng có thể được dùng làm chất khởi tạo cho liên kết chéo của các hệ resin và được xem như một lựa chọn thay thế cho các chất khởi động dễ bay hơi tùy theo điều kiện chế biến.
