  • Ứng dụng

    Piperonyl Butoxide được sử dụng phổ biến như một chất tăng hiệu quả (synergist) cho thuốc trừ sâu chứa pyrethrin và pyrethroid, bằng cách ức chế enzym chuyển hóa của côn trùng và làm tăng hiệu quả diệt trừ. Trong thực tế, nó được pha với pyrethroids để bảo vệ cây trồng trong nông nghiệp, bổ sung vào các sản phẩm diệt côn trùng dùng trong gia đình và làm vườn (xịt aerosol, dung dịch xịt và các dạng mồi diệt côn trùng), và có mặt trong các chế phẩm thú y dành cho vật nuôi để diệt ve và bọ chét. Nó cũng được gặp trong một số chế phẩm kiểm soát vector phục vụ y tế cộng đồng nhằm tăng cường hiệu quả diệt côn trùng gây bệnh, tuân thủ giới hạn quy định.
