  • Ứng dụng

    (+)-Neomenthyl acetate (CAS 2552-91-2) là este có mùi bạc hà dịu, hơi trái cây–thảo mộc, được dùng rộng rãi làm thành phần hương trong nước hoa, chăm sóc cá nhân (dầu gội, sữa tắm, kem dưỡng), sản phẩm chăm sóc răng miệng (kem đánh răng, nước súc miệng), chất tạo hương thực phẩm–đồ uống (kẹo, chewing gum, kẹo ngậm, đồ uống có hương bạc hà) và sản phẩm gia dụng (khử mùi, nước lau dọn) nhằm tạo cảm giác tươi mát, làm mềm và kéo dài nốt bạc hà, điều chỉnh cảm giác “mát” và giảm sắc thái long não gắt của menthol; dạng enantiomer tinh khiết (+) cho hồ sơ mùi sạch và ổn định hơn, phù hợp các công thức cao cấp cần kiểm soát cảm quan tinh tế; ngoài ra còn được dùng như nguyên liệu trung gian đối quang và chất chuẩn tham chiếu trong tổng hợp/phân tích (đánh giá tách chọn lọc trên cột đối quang), thường được áp dụng ở nồng độ thấp do cường độ mùi cao và yêu cầu tương thích–an toàn của hệ công thức.
