    Methyl phosphonothioic dichloride, anhydrous (CAS 676-98-2) chủ yếu được dùng như chất trung gian hoạt động trong tổng hợp các hợp chất phosphonothioate organophosphorus. Đây là tiền chất để tạo ra các phosphonothioate ester và các dẫn xuất liên quan, được ứng dụng trong sản xuất chất kháng cháy cho nhựa và lớp phủ, cũng như trong các hệ keo dính và vật liệu polymer có chứa phosphorus.
