  • Ứng dụng

    Mesityl oxide (CAS 141-79-7) là một xeton α,β-không no được dùng chủ yếu làm dung môi công nghiệp có tốc độ bay hơi trung bình và lực hòa tan mạnh cho nitrocellulose, nhựa acrylic, alkyd, epoxy và phenolic trong sơn phủ, mực in, keo dán, dung dịch tẩy rửa kim loại và trong các quy trình chiết tách/kết tinh; đồng thời là trung gian quan trọng trong hóa học acetone, có thể hydro hóa thành methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) và tiếp tục thành methyl isobutyl carbinol (MIBC), cũng như tham gia cộng Michael và ngưng tụ để xây dựng các cấu trúc cho dược phẩm, hóa chất nông nghiệp, vật liệu đóng rắn bằng UV và lớp phủ chuyên dụng; ngoài ra còn được dùng như dung môi điều chỉnh độ nhớt/quy trình để cải thiện độ chảy màng và tốc độ khô của sơn hàm lượng rắn cao, và làm chất mang trong chất tẩy dầu mỡ, dung dịch tẩy keo và tổng hợp quy mô lớn.
