    Hexafluoropropylene oxide (CAS 428-59-1) là epoxide fluorinated chủ yếu được dùng làm tiền chất cho tổng hợp các polymer fluorinated và PFPEs (dầu bôi trơn và chất bôi trơn công nghiệp), đồng thời là tiền chất để tổng hợp epoxy fluorinated cho lớp phủ, sơn và mực in có khả năng chịu hóa chất và nhiệt cao; nó cũng được sử dụng để phát triển các fluorinated surfactants và các chất hoạt động bề mặt cho xử lý bề mặt và sản xuất polymer, và là thành phần trong các hệ keo dính fluorinated dùng trong các ứng dụng công nghiệp; trong lĩnh vực điện tử, HFPO và dẫn xuất của nó được xem như nguồn monomer cho vật liệu fluorinated có tính chất điện môi và ổn định.
