  • Ứng dụng

    Dazomet (CAS 533-74-4) được dùng chủ yếu làm thuốc fumigan đất trong nông nghiệp và làm vườn để kiểm soát giun tròn gây hại, bệnh do nấm trên đất và một số loại cỏ dại trong đất; khi gặp ẩm, nó phân hủy sinh học thành methyl isothiocyanate (MITC), chất fumigant hoạt động được phóng thích. Ứng dụng thực tế gồm xử lý đất trong nhà kính và vườn ươm, xử lý đất trồng trước khi trồng ở các cánh đồng để giảm sâu bệnh và bệnh đất, và tiệt trùng cho media ủ ươm/đất trộn; các loại cây trồng điển hình là rau quả, hoa trang trí và cây công nghiệp; dazomet thường được lồng ghép trong các chương trình quản lý dịch hại đất.
