  • Ứng dụng

    Cyclohexanol, 5-methyl-2-(1-methylethenyl)-, acetate (CAS 89-49-6) là một este monoterpen ứng dụng chủ yếu trong hương liệu và hương thực phẩm: cung cấp sắc thái bạc hà–thảo mộc–gỗ hơi cam chanh, dùng trong nước hoa, xà phòng, chất tẩy rửa, nước xả vải, nến và sản phẩm khử mùi/không khí; trong thực phẩm và hương miệng, nó được phối trộn để tăng cường nốt spearmint, caraway, thảo mộc và citrus trong kẹo, kẹo cao su, đồ uống và hương kem đánh răng/nước súc miệng; ngoài ra còn làm chất trung gian tổng hợp trong hóa học hương (có thể thuỷ phân/biến đổi thành rượu tương ứng hoặc dẫn xuất monoterpen khác) và làm đồng dung môi/chất tương hợp giúp hòa tan dầu hương trong một số hệ phân phối mùi.
