  • Ứng dụng

    Cryolite (Na3AlF6, CAS 15096-52-3) được sử dụng chủ yếu làm flux trong sản xuất nhôm bằng quá trình điện phân Hall-Hé́roult, giúp hạ điểm nóng chảy của alumina và tăng điện dẫn của electrolyte. Nó còn được dùng trong ngành thủy tinh và gốm như flux để điều chỉnh quá trình nung và chất lượng của frit và men, và trong tổng hợp hóa học vô cơ như nguồn fluoride cho tổng hợp các hợp chất nhôm fluoride hoặc các hệ fluoride khác, được xem như phụ gia fluoride trong nhiều quy trình sản xuất kim loại và gốm sứ.
