    Citronellyl tiglate (CAS 24717-85-9) là một este thơm tự nhiên được tạo thành từ citronellol và axit tiglic, có hương hoa trái cây ngọt ngào, vì vậy thường được sử dụng làm chất điều hương trong nước hoa cao cấp, xịt thơm phòng, nến thơm và tinh dầu khuếch tán; ngoài ra, hợp chất này còn góp phần định hương trong mỹ phẩm chăm sóc da, dầu gội, sản phẩm vệ sinh cá nhân, thực phẩm và đồ uống hương trái cây, đồng thời được nghiên cứu làm thành phần che giấu mùi hoạt tính bề mặt trong chất tẩy rửa, hỗ trợ kiểm soát côn trùng thân thiện môi trường, và làm chất chuẩn phân tích trong khoa học mùi hương, giúp mở rộng bảng mùi và nâng cao độ bền hương khi phối hợp với aldehyde, lactone và terpenoid khác.
