    Cis-3-Hexenyl 3-methylbutanoate (CAS 35154-45-1) là este có hương “lá xanh” đặc trưng, được ứng dụng rộng rãi trong công nghiệp hương liệu và thực phẩm để tạo mùi tươi mát của cỏ non, táo xanh và trái cây nhiệt đới trong nước giải khát, kẹo, chewing gum, các sản phẩm sữa lên men; trong mỹ phẩm, nước hoa, xà phòng, chất tẩy rửa và nến thơm nhằm đem lại cảm giác trong lành tự nhiên; trong nông nghiệp và nghiên cứu sinh học nó còn đóng vai trò như hợp chất bán hóa học để thu hút, giám sát côn trùng gây hại hoặc mô phỏng tín hiệu phòng vệ của thực vật, đồng thời là chất chuẩn tham chiếu trong phân tích tinh dầu; hợp chất có ngưỡng mùi rất thấp, độ bền tốt, tương thích với nhiều hệ dung môi, đáp ứng các tiêu chuẩn IFRA/FEMA và thường được pha ở nồng độ ppm để tối ưu hiệu quả hương mà vẫn đảm bảo an toàn cho người tiêu dùng.
