  • Ứng dụng

    2-Methyl-1-butanol (còn gọi là isoamyl alcohol) có mùi trái cây nhẹ, là dung môi hữu cơ linh hoạt được dùng rộng rãi trong sơn, mực in, chất kết dính và chất tẩy rửa nhờ khả năng hòa tan cao và tốc độ bay hơi vừa phải; trong công nghiệp hương liệu và mỹ phẩm, nó là trung gian để tạo ester isoamyl acetate cho hương chuối, lê và được đưa vào nước hoa, kem dưỡng; trong sản xuất dược phẩm, thuốc thú y và hóa chất nông nghiệp, nó đóng vai trò tiền chất cho các dẫn xuất cacboxylat, sulfonat; ngoài ra 2-Methyl-1-butanol còn được nghiên cứu làm phụ gia nhiên liệu sinh học, chất cải thiện điểm đông đặc diesel, dung môi chiết tách trong sắc ký và chất tiền xử lý sinh khối lignoxenlulo.
