    2-Cyclohexen-1-ol, 2-methyl-5-(1-methylethenyl)-, 1-acetate, (1R,5R)-rel- (thường được gọi là carvyl acetate hoặc trans-carveol acetate, CAS 1205-42-1) là một este monoterpen có hương bạc hà-thảo mộc, thoang thoảng mùi caraway/dill, được ứng dụng rộng rãi làm chất thơm và điều biến mùi trong nước hoa, xà phòng, chất tẩy rửa và sản phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân; làm chất tạo hương trong kẹo cao su, bánh kẹo, đồ uống và sản phẩm chăm sóc răng miệng để tăng sắc thái bạc hà, cảm giác mát và vị cay ấm; đóng vai trò chất tăng cường trong các tổ hợp hương citrus, thảo mộc, gỗ và gia vị nhờ độ bay hơi trung bình và khả năng làm tròn, giảm độ gắt của carvone, phối hợp tốt với limonene, menthol, eucalyptol; đồng thời được dùng như nguyên liệu trung gian tổng hợp các dẫn xuất terpene (ví dụ thủy phân/oxy hóa trở lại carveol/carvone, epoxid hóa), chất chuẩn phân tích GC-MS trong đánh giá tinh dầu caraway/dill/spearmint, và là thành phần nature-identical có thể thu nhận từ dòng limonene để xây dựng công thức hương-vị hiện đại theo các hướng dẫn an toàn hiện hành.
