  • Ứng dụng

    1-Methyl-4-(1-methylvinyl)cyclohexan-1-ol (CAS 7299-40-3) là một rượu monoterpen đa dụng được ứng dụng chủ yếu làm thành phần hương liệu trong nước hoa, mỹ phẩm, chất khử mùi và sản phẩm chăm sóc nhà cửa nhờ nốt mùi terpenic tươi mát (citrus–gỗ–thảo mộc) và khả năng làm tròn, cố định hoặc tăng khuếch tán các nốt hương khác; ở mức vết, hợp chất này cũng có thể được dùng làm chất điều vị trong đồ uống, bánh kẹo và hương thực phẩm nơi pháp lý cho phép; về hóa học, nhóm rượu và isopropenyl tạo điều kiện cho phản ứng ester hóa, ete hóa, epoxid hóa hoặc hydroformyl hóa để tạo ester mùi trái cây, chất hoạt tính và các trung gian tổng hợp, đồng thời cho phép grafting hoặc biến tính polyme để tạo monome/chất biến tính chức năng; ngoài ra nó còn được dùng như dung môi/đồng dung môi và chất hòa tan hương trong sơn, mực, chất phủ gốc nước và chất tẩy rửa công nghiệp nhằm cải thiện hòa tan và hồ sơ bay hơi, và đã được nghiên cứu như chất tăng cường kháng khuẩn/kháng nấm hay chất hỗ trợ xua đuổi côn trùng trong chế phẩm vệ sinh và nông nghiệp, với việc sử dụng cụ thể phụ thuộc yêu cầu an toàn và quy định địa phương.
